Another Pizzafritta catering tram.We have just completed the wrapping of another, smaller Pizzafritta catering tram. Working from the companies base in Brighton we took the full set of digital and vinyl graphics and wrapped them round this eye catching tram style catering vehicle What's on the tram.Starting on the front area we applied a montage of Italian imagery. This full colour print was applied in a single section across the base. We then faced the front of the serving hatch in standard Red 3M vinyl. The lettering beneath this "Freshly Made Real Italian Food Pronto" was produced from a combination of Red and White reflective vinyl- reflective was chosen and it's an easy, cost effective way of creating a illuminated effect at night. The two side windows have been faced in synthetic chalkboard material for use as menu boards. The top canopies were in a poor state of finish. Rather than re-painting these we simply faced the canopies in White vinyl and applied Red reflective and Black vinyl lettering. One end of the tram is decorated with an Italian flag made from coloured vinyl. The other is decorated with another, smaller photo montage. Again, the top canopies were faced in White vinyl with Red reflective and Black vinyl lettering applied on top. The back of the tram features the trademark image of Sophia Loren. This image was printed digitally and measures some 2m deep by 4m long. With various obstructions like straps, handles, catches and vents it took some time to carefully wrap the vinyl images across the bodywork of the tram. This is where our skilled installation staff really make the difference. Whilst there are many suppliers of digital printing there are not that many who can offer a quality installation service like this. Our staff always work carefully and take their time- the fitting of the tram was took some 14 man hours whilst the larger unit we completed previously took 26 man hours. We believe that the time and care taken during installation has a direct impact on the quality and durability of the end result. We take installations very seriously, this is why we do not use outside staff preferring to use our own experienced and attentive staff (during the installation of both Pizzafritta vehicles no vinyl was damaged and there were no calls for reprints of sections ruined due to improper attempts at installation.
This large image of the rear shows the Sophia Loren graphic in all it's glory. If you look closely you might see the horizontal wooden strip that runs right through the bodywork. The area around Sophia herself features a door and various handles and catches. You can see that careful installation makes a huge difference to the end result. More to come. This second tram is to be located in Portsmouth in the next few days. Having finished both of the current catering units owned by Pizzafritta we are preparing a graphics set for the companies Ford Transit van- this will de designed to match both trailers. As an ambitious, successful company Pizzafritta are already looking to add more trams to their fleet and are looking at more locations across the south coast- we are set for more wrapping projects just like this. |
