If you are looking for catering trailer graphics this project is going to be of interest to you.

Most catering trailer graphics are based on normal cut vinyl graphics. Whilst catering trailer graphics created in this way can be effective a move to full colour digitally printed catering trailer graphics could give your business that extra competitive edge.

Digitally printed catering trailer graphics.

For this catering trailer graphics project we worked closely with a talented designer. The clients, PizzaFritta are based in Brighton. The catering trailer is positioned outside the Churchill Shopping Centre- a five minute walk from Brighton train station.

The brief for these catering trailer graphics was to create a strongly themed design that would raise the profile of the business- identifying them as a quality alternative to traditional fried takeaway food.

The design was painstaking created (the image montages are all themed with the PizzaFritta logo).

The entire back of the trailer is wrapped in this attractive Italian scene. The top wording is a combination of class 3 reflective Red vinyl and standard Black film.

How we produced these catering trailer graphics.

Having received the final designs on CD the catering trailer graphics were printed using the latest solvent based digital printing machinery.

This type of digital printer produces vibrant, colourful results. Durability and wear resistance are also an important factor in digital production- solvent based machines counter previous technological problems in these two areas.

Older printing equipment works using a pigment or water based ink system. When printed onto specially coated vinyl's the ink from these machines "floats" on the surface.

With solvent based machines the ink is applied with heat and actually penetrates into the surface of the vinyl. This gives unprecedented durability and image clarity.

Protecting the catering trailer graphics

Vandalism is sadly an all too common problem. Being located in a busy area right in the heart of Brighton these catering trailer graphics are a prime target for graffiti attacks.

To counter this problem we laminated all the printed graphics with a special anti graffiti laminate from 3M.

This will help to protect the graphics and also provide an additional level of protection from damaging UV rays.

This close up shows the front images in greater detail. Notice the strapping and furniture on bodywork- the digital images were carefully wrapped and trimmed to get that super neat finish.
The careful design work carried out ensures that the livery works well even when the front of the trailer is opened.
Both ends of the trailer were also wrapped. The curved surface and door handles created a challenge but the end result was impressive.

We use the most up to date printing technology to produce sharper, more colourful images.
